The CDM is a complicated system that requires constant checking and verification. There are various authorities responsible for these processes.
Project participants willing to validate / register a CDM project activity shall:
use a methodology previously approved by the UN Executive Board
or propose a new methodology to the UN Executive Board for consideration and approval, if appropriate. There are two methodologies applicable to the TPA Agricultural Biogas Project. Methodology 1 Methodology 2
In order for a CDM project to be initiated the Baseline Requirements must first be calculated. There are various documents that explain this process available on the UNFCCC website.
